Les 7 coups de fouet pour se remettre des périodes festives et bien commencer cette nouvelle année !

We’re all familiar with those mornings when everything screams ‘stop’: a blurred black-and-white filter complexion, puffy panda eyes, a liver on strike, and the scales… ah, the scales, they give you an accusatory look. But don’t panic! After the festive season, it’s time for a plan of attack. Here’s how to boost your morale and your body with a feel-good programme.

1. Cleanse quickly but carefully

Have you spent 2 hours putting on make-up before heading out for the evening? Take at least 2 minutes to remove everything. There’s no question of letting those mascara residues clog your pores. Your skin is clean, moisturised and ready to be reborn. A cotton pad, a gentle make-up remover, and off to bed!
Even if you’ve been dancing until dawn, there are no excuses.

2. Drink… but not just anything

Forget the coffee that gives you heart palpitations or the orange juice that stings (poor stomach).
Instead: water, lots of water. Ideally, mineral water rich in bicarbonate or green tea that whispers ‘detox’ to your cells. For the daring: a green smoothie. It’s the winning combo: 40% leafy green vegetables + 60% fruit. Thanks to chlorophyll, vitamins and fibre!

3. A real breakfast, not a handful of crisps

Your body needs fuel, but there’s no question of clogging it up any further. On the menu: starchy foods (wholemeal rice, quinoa, wholemeal bread), a little light protein (steamed chicken, fish) and a dairy product with probiotics to pamper your intestinal flora.
Sauces, fried foods and overly rich dishes? Forget them. Sorry, mayo.

4. A gentle detox dinner

In the evening, it’s all about lightness. Opt for cooked green vegetables (but not drowned in butter!) or a comforting soup or broth. For protein, stick to steamed fish or lean meat. And for dessert, a compote or fresh fruit.
In short, a meal that whispers ‘I’m taking care of you’.

5. Sleep (and sleep again if you need to)

After one evening after another, it’s time to recharge the batteries. A good night’s sleep works wonders. And if the afternoon is calm, a little nap is your best ally. It’s the perfect way to recover from the party marathon and say goodbye to dark circles.

6. Get out and breathe

Put an end to your TV-sleep mode. Put on your trainers and get out for a breath of fresh air. There’s nothing like a walk to oxygenate your brain and get your thoughts back on track. What’s more, it’ll help you get back on track.
And who knows, maybe you’ll come across a ray of sunshine?

7. Sauna, bath or long shower

If you have access to a sauna, go for it! Sweating is the best detox cure. Otherwise, a warm bath with a few drops of scented oil or a long shower will do the trick. Relaxation guaranteed.

Noëlle’s little extra

Take the time to pamper yourself. A scrub to say goodbye to dead cells, a moisturising mask to restore your skin’s radiance, and a good anti-grey complexion cream or serum. Believe me, a radiant face is a great morale booster! And don’t forget: a pampered body means a calmer mind.

So, are you ready to tackle the New Year with freshness and energy?
Take care of yourself, have fun… and long live 2025!
